You have fallschy gear which makes you as offical as you need to be. Its not like we FJR2 are a particularly offical about anything. At least thats how I see the group.

We all have an interest in the Fallschirmjager, and if we get to fight as a group thats even better.

As we are doing a photo shoot on the training day I will bring the container, so if anyone has any spare kit that we could use to fill the thing up with.

In the real world the container would hold 200lbs of gear including 4 rifles etc.

Then in that case, I think you should fill it with 200lbs of gear and carry it!

Be good to put the de-ac actually next to a tanaka, though I won't be there to see it. I fondled loads at Leeds militaria fair before it arrived (de-ac fondling that is).

Anyways am sure you'll all have fun, my mothers going to Liverpool (I've no idea why ) for her birthday so am just stuck with small people

I've got the stock done on my Tanaka G33/40 (just need to put the thing together now) so I thin it will be viable for a photoshoot. Looking rather nice if I do say so myself.

Can you blokes bring as much FJ spare kit with you as possible to the TD please, we need some spare helmets and smocks if you have them and the SS will provide a couple of extras for your photoshoot. We'll do it in the trenches, so the bottom half of the uniform is not seen, if necessary we'll use M43 caps or head wound dressings for a couple of extras to boost your numbers, if you have any props please bring them too, you can use our MG42 and panzerfaust for effect, if you have any grenades and ammo boxes pack them along. Also, some of our guys will be dressing up as Russians, so we'll use them as prisoners and/or dead bodies in the background. We'll grab a half hour for this during lunch, so do your best to bring us some spare kit.

Can I bring my Nebelwerfer round if I bring some other nice bits?

Bring anything and everything, the more gear we have the better the pics will look.

We can even lend smocks to some of the SS so we have SS Fallschirmjager.
